About the project

SBF supplies the complete ceiling system for the Inspiro London trains developed by Siemens. The modern nine-car metro trains on the London Underground are characterized by maximum energy efficiency and innovative technology. The ceiling system comprises a lightweight construction with 13 m long aluminum beams, which combine stability and weight savings.

What was included in the project?

• Lightweight ceiling system consisting of central and side ceilings.
• 13 m long aluminum support profiles for maximum stability with low weight.
• Display carrier for integration of passenger information.
