About the project

The ICE 4 is an essential part of Germany's modern train fleet. As part of an extensive retrofit program, new 5G antennas are being installed on 137 trains. SBF took on the development and delivery of perforated ceilings for midceilings and side ceilings, which meet both technical requirements and functionality.

What was included in the project?

• Manufacture of an aluminum interior system
• Midcovers and side covers with integrated brackets
• Covers for the new 5G antennas
• Delivery of completely rebuilt and new perforated ceilings
